Ryan Wiedmann serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Thirty-5 Capital, where he leads marketing strategy and capability development across a portfolio of performance-driven sports and lifestyle brands. He is responsible for shaping brand positioning, accelerating consumer engagement, and building modern marketing systems that drive both growth and connection.
Ryan brings over 18 years of global brand, digital, and eCommerce leadership experience, having worked across some of the world’s most recognized consumer brands. Prior to joining Thirty-5 Capital, he held senior leadership roles at Newell Brands, Johnson Outdoors, and Pernod Ricard, where he led billion-dollar portfolios, drove brand transformations, and delivered measurable growth across direct-to-consumer, retail, and marketplace channels. His work has consistently focused on uncovering consumer insights, building compelling brand narratives, and translating strategy into results across complex, multi-channel environments.
Known as a “dot connector,” Ryan combines strategic thinking, creative storytelling, and data-driven decision-making to unlock growth opportunities others might miss. He has led high-performing teams, optimized multi-million dollar marketing investments, and built integrated campaigns that move both hearts and markets.
Ryan studied screenwriting at UCLA, a background that continues to influence his passion for storytelling, and his belief that the most powerful brands are built on human truths and authentic connection.
